Bone Spice Bowl – These beautiful spice jars are perfect for spices, pinchables, and more! Each set comes with a small bowl and matching serving spoon. Because of the nature of these pieces, please expect variations in sizing, colors, and designs. Bone bowls range from 1″-2″ wide, with most of them ranging in the 1.5″ size. These are small pots that can hold approximately 15-20mL. 

Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Avoid soaking in water, as this can cause bones to crack and break over time. Clean with a soft cloth or sponge. Dry completely with a cloth. Do not put in dishwasher or oven. 

UPCYCLING NATURAL BONE

All of our bone products are made from ethically and sustainably sourced cow bone that otherwise would have been discarded. To produce these pieces, skilled craftsmen sanitize the bones in a process that takes 24-48 hours. Each bone is then hand carved and stained with traditional batik techniques. These pieces are fair trade items that help support the local communities in Kenya. They’re also made from upcycled materials that help reuse waste and reduce carbon impacts.
