CARING FOR WOODEN PIECES

Wooden kitchenware is best used with dry ingredients and is not recommended for use with liquids. Hand wash only with mild detergents–wood is not well suited for the dishwasher. Do not soak in water and dry with a soft towel immediately after washing to avoid warping. As with any wood-based kitchen tool, preserve your piece with food-grade mineral oils after each wash. If your bowl requires sanitizing, soak the piece in a hydrogen peroxide/water solution for about 10 minutes. Rinse and dry immediately.
