We need trees now more than ever. Trees purify the air by absorbing and storing harmful greenhouse gasses, and releasing oxygen back into our atmosphere. They gather precious rainwater while their roots filter out pollutants and prevent erosion and flooding. They are a precious home, shelter, sustenance, and habitat to thousands of living things: plants, mosses, animals, and insects. They calm our souls and inspire our imaginations.
