Armenian Cross Stitch Kit – Ramshorn Table Runner
This compelling design has its origins in a 1926 hand colorized photo of an embroidered Armenian cap. It features the ancient โramshornโ motif alternating with stars and Xs and its half drop motif placement creates a vibrant energy with bands of color that mimic traditional weaving. The bold black, terra cotta and olive green colorway is striking and dramatic.
Although this pattern looks intricate, these kits are designed for crafters of all levels. Beginners may want to consider purchasing an embroidery hoop, although this is not required to complete the kit. Note that the enclosed full color pattern is a separate sheet and is not detailed on the cloth. True beginners looking to try out this craft may consider drawing grid lines on the placemat cloth to use as a guide.
